I have to say I had to read the title of this a couple of times…only because I was just making sure I read it correctly. It seems that Alex will be a new Character on Sesame Street and his father is in jail. They are introducing Alex into Sesame Street to help kids understand and cope with parental incarceration. I do understand that it could be difficult for a child to understand what is going on with their parent and it is also I’m sure hard for them to cope with as well. I am curious what your views are on this new character that has been introduced on the show?
